A part of the San Fermin Festival in Span, the running of the bulls in Pamplona is from July 6 through July 14 each year. These are essentially cattle fairs that date back to the twelfth century. It was Ernest Hemingway‘s description of this event in The Sun Also Rises (1926) and the running of the bulls that brought that event to wider attention.

This biped complicated health issues by going totally vegan. Some folks thrive on it. But it doesn’t work for everyone. However, eating at the low-end of the protein food chain (soft low-fat or non-fat cheeses, fish and poultry), minimizing portions (8-11 oz. only a day, no super-sizing), eliminating beef, and using fruit and green salads to bulk up does work. If enough of us did it, there’d be much less cruelty, better health, and we’d deminish the environmental impact.
