“Yak milk, huh. Wonder what they feed their felines. Speaking of which: FEED ME!”
In the documentary, The Story of the Weeping Camel, you get to see how the people of Mongolia prepare yak milk for meals. And, while they look too cumbersome to race, there is yak racing in Tibet.
This particular yak (below) lives in upstate New York U.S.A. at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse. The photograph is by Dave Pape and is in the public domain.

I’m so impressed with the Mongolian woman’s mastery of English. I’m always faintly embarrassed that we here in the States usually only speak one language, our own, and so few are fluent in another. And there’s that woman, working with yaks on her farm in Mongolia and she speaks English so well.
