“Love was out to get me … do na do an …Now I’m a believer … Soooooooooo sweets! I’m in luuuuuuuv …Hey peoples, this is a reminder to get furry companies from shelters and not stores.”
Sweet indeed! These two had traumatic starts in life but they are now happily and lovingly ensconced in the safety of Hillside Animal Sanctuary in Norwich UK. According to a report in Wales Online, piglet Tabitha was found abandoned and freezing on the side of a road. Her umbilical cord was still attached. She’s just five weeks old in this video. Susie was rescued from a Pembrokeshire puppy mill.
Susie’s Llanfyrnach breeder was prosecuted to the full extent of the law. She lost her license and was fined according to a report of the Pembrokeshire County Council. The breeder is said to have failed ” to provide even the bare necessities for a dog’s life.” There were six dogs in her care and they were kept in restricted housing with little access to fresh air, light, water, or room to exercise. One dog was found kennelled in a verminous shed. Thank goodness there was a happy end to the story for these babies.
Down with puppy mills. Up with sanctuaries.
