CRITICAL FIRST THREE YEARS

“Ahhh! Too cutes. Poor babies …”

Poor babies indeed and darling as well; but, what touched us most is the apparent devotion of the staff. It looks like these baby apes require all the same responsibilities and duties involved in raising a human child only you don’t have to worry about college or fear that they’ll end up fighting a war somewhere.

Orangutans are the only exclusively Asian genus of extant great ape. The largest living arboreal animals, they have longer arms than the other, more terrestrial, great apes. They are among the most intelligent primates and use a variety of sophisticated tools, also making sleeping nests each night from branches and foliage. Their hair is typically reddish-brown, instead of the brown or black hair typical of other great apes. MORE [Wikipedia)

  1. They are just precious. I couldn’t believe that they couldn’t get out of those baskets. That one getting a bath was so tiny…

I like how Gypsy cares about these little babies. What a good girl. xoxo
